CATs (Collieston Action for Teens)

The Collieston Action for Teens (CATS) is a new group for young people between 12 and 18 from Collieston and Slains.  It was set up in 2005 with the support of two local youth workers from the Ellon Young People's Project. It was formed by a group of Collieston teenagers who felt that there were few activities and amenities for their age group in the village. It aims to give young people a voice and an opportunity to organise and raise funds for their own activities.

After a successful Halloween party, to raise funds for a new basketball hoop, the group have ambitious plans to benefit all young people in the area.

If you are in the last term of P6 – S6 and want something to do on a Friday Night why not come along to the CATS Club in the Hall.  We have film nights, games, activities and FOOD!!  It’s only £1 and happens every 2nd week.
