Title
The raven persuades mankind to emerge from the clamshell - a sculpture depicting the creation myth of the Haida Nation of the Canadian Pacific coast, crafted out of a 4.5 tonne block of yellow cedar. Designed by celebrated Haida artist Bill Reid, who took three years to complete with the aid of five assistants, it's the centrepiece of the Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver.
