'The Hawkley Bay was 12 feet in length and built in Peterhead in 1926.  The owner was Andrew Walker.  In 1943 she was sold to G. Robb.  Thanks to Charles Esson for the additional information.

Jocky's surname was Paterson not May (village pronunciation Mei-like Chinese!)  George Robb, trawler owner from Aberdeen, who bought the Hawkley Bay, retired to Collieston having bought Fortune Villa and next door to create the current size of the house.  Thanks to Elizabeth Hay for the additional information.
